Hi guys,

I was hoping you might be able to help me out?
I have heard wonderful things about Victroza and Type 1, I was wondering if any of you out there have been given it?

I'm desperate for a light at the end of the tunnel and I hope that some of you might be able to tell me if it has worked for you... I've tried literally everything in the book to loose weight and get by HbA1c down but to no avail!

Let me know!

Hi. I would try to avoid adding Victoza to your insulin if you can. Have you reduced your carb intake and portion sizes and match your insulin units to your food? May be you are already low-carbing, but if not set yourself a daily target of, perhaps, 150gm. When on insulin it is easy to eat more freely and take more insulin to match. If you are overweight then you may have insulin resistance as well as being T1 and reducing carbs will help to break a vicious circle. I may be guessing and perhaps you are already seriously controlling you food. I'm not an expert on Victoza so hopefully someone else will be able to comment. BTW how many units of insulin do you take and what is your weight?
