I have just looked at the nhs site re Victoza and noticed it cannot be prescribed if you have thyroid "problems". I have an under active thyroid and take thyroxine. Does anyone else take thyroxine and are still able to use victoza?

I had an overactive Thyroid some years ago, which was sorted out, and just been put on Victoza..
I asked this and was told it was only if you had some form of Thyroid cancer, so fine for me ..

Been on it for 5 days now at 0.6, and no real problems, only a slight headache for about 15 mins after injecting, but not seen any changes in levels. They are still in the high teens...
Anyone on here know how long before I can expect to see any reduction...
