I read on this forum that Virgin coconut oil is good for your brain.
Can anyone give me suggestions for using this oil in daily cooking. I bought some yesterday and find the sweet taste too sweet for cooking savoury food and I don't eat sweet food.

Thank you. Atlantico

I too found it unpalatable.
So I use animal fats, such as lard, beef dripping, duck fat or goose fat.
Much better for frying your eggs and omelettes!

I use it when baking as I don't use artificial sweeteners.
Coconut flour is good too and ground almonds - you can make cake like things which are not too sweet and use them to make a low carb trifle with a little fruit, or yogurt in gelatine, and real custard, or just to have with coffee.

I use it on my High protein Rolls just instead of butter

Thank you all for your ideas. I am learning fast thanks to everyone here.

Lidl protein rolls have been discontinued Asda has stopped se!!ing the high protein polish bread

Typically use it to scramble eggs or bulletproof coffee. It keeps the brain humming in the morning...

Thanks to everyone for your advice. Thanks also to Brunneira, I have now started making fat bombs.
