Just an update if anyone was wondering, I had a blood test done after 1 week of vitamins, it went from 33 to 43.4.
Gp refused to prescribe more than 800 units and thinks I shouldn't take more than that, she also thought 33 was fine!
Today the consultant told me to ignore the gp and the diabetes midwife almost dropped with shock that the vitamins contain sugar!
Vitabiotics (vitamin d3) aren't affecting my Bgl which is good. Thanks everyone for your support and help.
