Vitamins with meds

I have been reading about certain supplements which might help with various problems, and have bought some magnesium, B-complex with added B-12 and benfotiamine (derived from B-1). Does anyone know if these are safe to take alongside regular meds? This is just a general question - I don't want to ask the doctor because the last time I mentioned supplements, he totally dismissed them as a waste of money.

A very complex area and I suggest typing in one of you drugs and one of your supplements together into the search engine a and take it from there

It's always best to,check in case there's an issue. You could try asking your pharmacist if you don't want to speak to the GP.

I take the supplements you've mentioned but the only medication I'm on is insulin.

What a good idea - I'll ask the pharmacist. Thank you.
