Vitamins

Hello,

Does anyone have any recommendations on vitamins that help boost the immune system? As a type 1 diabetic i am often prone to getting sick or getting colds and i was thinking of someone i could take to maybe reduce that?

Several years ago, before I was diabetic, I was getting fed up with the number of colds I was getting so started taking vitamin C and zinc, just Tesco own brand so nothing fancy. Since then I rarely get a cold and if I do it’s always very mild. Coincidence I don’t know, but I’m not risking stopping taking them now!

I used to get colds all the time before I was diagnosed diabetic. Since switching from a nutritionally deficient grain-based diet to a largely animal based one, I haven’t had a single sniffle in almost two years
