Not sure if this is the right place, but my mum is trying to lose weight and has been given some sachets of VSL3 to try from a relative (not diabetic). I checked the ingredients and it has maltose in it along with the good bacteria. I just wondered whether taking this supplement will affect her blood sugar levels.
Or if anyone has tried this?
She has been on insulin for 4 almost 5 years due to also having ulcerative colitis.
