Hi Folks,
Just have a couple of questions regarding Andrews waistline. Every pair of trousers he has put on this week are hanging off him. About 3weeks back we went onto a 4th injection of Humalog at 4pm as his Levemir was running out.This seemed to cover him regards to snack after school and the absence of Levemir in his system, and kept him going to bedtime. I'm just wondering if....
1. the extra units of Humalog which can be up to 5 are causing weight lost, he would take roughly 24 units of Humalog a day.
2. That we're at the stage where the Levemir needs split, 21 units before bed and lasts 18hrs.
Andrews of fine build and he doesn't seem to have lost weight else where, just round his waist. He recently had his urine tested for routine kidney function, but as always after 5 weeks are still awaiting results.
Any ideas, appreciated as always,
