New update from my friend, likely the last one through me.
She's currently trying to sign up to the forum so she can post her own updates, but the forum software doesn't accept her for some reason. I trust the issue will be resolved in a few days though.
Sorry, did I miss something? Why have you decided to reduce your number of steps when you were doing so well? Are you recording incidental number of steps e.g. around the workplace? or are you recording the number of steps on a sustained walk? I record the latter, everything else is a bonus! As promised, earlier in the thread, I cut my normal weekly steps. Didn't plan an amount, but it worked out at about half:
Day's totals: 4901, 3271, 591, 647, 7834, 6180, 405.
Week total: 23.829
Divided by 2000 steps (1 mile): 11.91

I'm so sorry to hear that you haven't been on top of things. I find that I feel so much better when I get outside and walk. Also high blood glucose levels are associated with low mood so anything that reduces blood glucose has a positive impact and I'm all for that.
Is there a Walking for Health group near you that could provide extra motivation and company? I find that making a commitment to walk with someone is a good motivator. As is being fit enough to run away from orcs.
Glad to hear you are back on track. Keep up the good work!Forgot to add the screenshots in the last post and it wouldn't allow me to add in the edit, so...

And speaking of horses, I have a new update from my friend (who still can't log in herself) and her furry friend on brand new sparkly walking shoes.will get back on the horse next week.
Good thing it's about the journey, not the destination!I have only found this today. I would like to join in, but I think it will take me a loooooong time to walk to Mordor, but "Every journey starts with one step"
I have logged my distance for the last 9 days. Based on this it will take me 2005 days to get there and back. I must increase my daily steps!!!Good thing it's about the journey, not the destination!
