Was Santa good to you?

Has Santa given you what you want or was it a disappointing waste of time!

As usual with my lot, mine was more than I bargained for, in other words spoilt by their generosity!
Practically a new wardrobe to go with my slimline self.

Yep, lots of stuff I wanted, a candle making kit, smellies, etc... a few boxes of chocolates but I am sure I can bribe my family with them. BG was an astonishing 7.5 even after Christmas dinner. I had mostly Quorn though. I hope everyone had a great day. Xxx

A new dishwasher... Had to be ordered today as ours gushed water everywhere. Arrives Saturday so pretty quick considering.

No presents though as I was brought up being given money on christmas dsy to spend in the sales and the tradition has followed me all my adult life. Give to children but me and hubby don't give anything to each other....
 
Eisteddfod wellies!!

Okay, may sound weird to anyone who hasn't experienced the quagmire that is your typical Maes (that's the field to the rest of us!), but for the last three years, I've borrowed the crocs wellies that my then 8 year old nephew had grown out of. (I kinda liked the big frog eyes on the front.) I now have my own, grown up, posh wellies. Furry lining, neat, moulded sole, discretely polka dotted...- I'm serious impressed by these wellies. (No goggly eyes though.)
An antique marcasite necklace, a pinny with tiny little border terriers on it and a book on Persian cooking.

This is going to sound odd but the things we got each other were small but fab but stuff from others was ...odd. First year I've been diabetic so people clearly stuck as to what to buy so got oven mits (I already have 2 pairs), place mats (I can add them to the other 3 sets languishing in the cupboard) a tea towel, hand cream (useful) and 2 really lovely, clearly expensive scarves which don't go with anything I've got. To be fair, I did get asked if there was anything I wanted (no - I'm of an age where I can honestly say I've got everything I want) and I hadnt a clue. But it was probably one of the best, most relaxed Christmases I've had which just goes to show that possessions aren't everything. The last few have been great on the present front but I've had bronchitis, pneumonia and Nora virus for the last 3 so grateful that wasn't ill in bed and no culinary disasters. Brotherinlaw and nephew round so lovely. Kids happy as they had someone to play with. Am loving upgraded one cup (got the variable flow one this time) and silver filigree earrings. Loving new hairdo which mum treated me to for Christmas.
 
I remember sitting at my mums kitchen table and getting up to find my skirt was distinctly shorter! She has a retriever with a taste for material!
 
I got a bottle of cider with a glass, a gift set of 2 small vodkas, a bottle of cherry brandy and a body shop set. Think people may think im an alcoholic! I hardly ever drink!
 
In general we don't do presents any more now the kids are grown and flown.

However I did get the latest William Gibson SciFi novel from my son
 
I got the Alex Monroe Dragon Fly,a plum sort of jumper shawl.lovely candle,body lotion, a years suscription to Marie Clare magazine and a Swarovski bangle.some Nivia creams.
I still have presses to open when we get to Abu Dhabi next Tuesday,I realy have been spoilt.
 
I got some lovelky presents, especially from my teenager, A dad's army piggy bank, heart shaped wooden photo frame, a wooden trinket box, (so natural),Rhubarb and Vanilla bath foam, So, perfume, smellies, 4 heart shaped slate coasters, a beautiful glittery ball necklace,and a boo,k Blind alley by Danielle Ramsay, i was overjoyed yesterday and a little choked up too, what a star she is, love her to bits <3 <3 ,<3

RRB Ooopps I forgot the 3 in 1 bird box kit :-D ;-o

Loving Handbags - Hubby got me 4 of these YAY
One red and 2 black and a pewter silver one .
A girl can never have enough handbags !

Plus a new car key ring for my super dooper new car .

Loving gorgeous scents - couple of boxes of perfume .
Scented candles and scent sticks .

Yep - even robins on it .
Large scarf with robins on it too wearing this
in festive mode n spirit
Also 2 red glittery huge roses / poppies scarves (from hubby)
To go with my new handbag of course .

Box of gorgeous handmade gluten free little Florentines - (from a close friend)
Daughter/grand daughter - got me some new make up and vitamin E day/night face creams.
Happy Girly - this xmas

Hubby has treated us both to a new telly
Ours has a black line down it and is over 11 years old .

So he ordered new one on line yesterday .
Comes with free delivery and includes a 5year warranty .

Its a smart tv - so we can watch programmes we may miss too
 
Thoroughly spoiled by hubby, parents, step-son and brother-in-law, including three pieces of jewelry, two bottles of perfume, a coat, gloves, a pink hoodie, a new wig, dark chocolate, luscious hand/body creams and several DVDs.

Oh, and hubby washed every last bit of all the Christmas dishes.

A plectrum punch (like a large stapler, only it cuts out plectrum-shapes from plastic, thin metal and other materials to give different sounds)
A solar-powered sonic mole scarer for the allotment
And dear Mrs DeeJayR spent ages and loadsamoney in the health food shop getting a bucketful of goodies
 
My lot were under orders for clothes that fit me now as well! Santa still brought smellies, socks, undies, slippers(x3) and chocolate! Yippee!
 
Couple of CDs I wanted from hubby and a book he thought I might like. Money off my family for a new rug or two when room is finished being replastered. New slippers, smellies, hand and heel cream, fancy dark chocolate.

Bought myself a pair of boots in sales..
