I test mostly in morning so there should not be any leftovers in my hands.

Do you test two hours after eating? It's the best way to find out what foods raise blood sugar for you. I do and have found I shouldn't eat apples or nuts as they cause spikes which depending on size cause my BG to be high for several hours.
