Once again, a bit of warm weather, especially, here in the north.
In the UK, which is a group of islands surrounded by water and every time the sun comes out we have a drought!
Just a couple of hundred miles away, there is plenty of fresh water and moving north, it is still regularly raining.
But in the south, they don't have enough and I'm sure restrictions will come into force.
We have plenty up north!
So why is there a problem?
Answer, no desalination plants.
Answer, we don't have a nationwide network.

We have a nationwide grid for electricity and gas, cables everywhere for broadband, t.v. Telephone, motorways even connecting ferries and infrastructure for waste disposal, drainage and the obvious network of trains, planes and buses.

Water is the most essential commodity and we pay enough of too much for the supply to our homes, isn't it time we had a proper network of water to the south, instead of as in still remote parts of our country, water has to be delivered daily in water trucks. I kid you not! And it needs boiling before use!

What a great country this is!

We can't afford desalinated water!
