Weekly weigh in - Fridays

I've been away a week or so, now I weigh about 75.6kg, so lost the lb I put on. Not really worried. If I can loos another 7lb or so over the next few months, good oh. Not panicking or in any hurry. Most happy that the HbA1c number ifs now 39. That makes me very happy.. Good luck to all up or down.

Maybe you could try the ayurvedic herb medication triphala it helps many condition also the balance of the cell and its environment and water retension and condition of " leaky gut" and irritable gut problems .... I have not tried it myself But was surprised How many conditions that diabetics typically suffer from that it seems to cover , its been used for thousand years by the way also for arthritis

Sorry for you being in such a bad condition hope you'll get help soon

39 is fantastic!!! Well done. 39 is a brilliant achievement.

Today it isn't as bad as yesterday. I weighed myself and I stuck on 130.20kg but to be honest I've been eating very little. Probables not enough. Sore tummy with tramadol constipation yesterday. Chest was excrutiating yesterday. I had to do more walking to get home which wasn't in the plan. I was no use to man or beast after that.

I'm 68.4kgs so under 11 stone
Started at 77.11kgs in Feb
At diabetic review in Nov I was 79kgs and Feb 73kgs
Have lost inches of waist I was 39 last Nov and now 32.5. Only another inch for the NHS guidelines to be at. Want it smaller though

Triphala by the way is also used against constipation

That's a great HbA1c result and I agree with your approach to weight loss.

Wonderful, well done!! very impressed. I'm struggling with the waist reduction, can't really do any waist targeting exercises as I have a hernia. But I'm chipping away at it, my main excuse is I'm quite tall... Not sure how that works Again congrats to you

Hmmm. Cream and cheese. Not necessarily together.... Add some avocado and bacon to the diet at you're on the way.
I do not like cream or avocado's, but eat plenty of other fatty type foodstuff. I have started to eat a bigger portions to make up for the spuds and bread etc. so will look to see the results when I get on my GP's scales again.

Most of the weight I have lost is all the lard I put on after I stopped smoking, so that has got to be good for my heart without much fat hanging on to it.

I've just realised I lost 2kgs from the beginning of Feb to the end when my review was on the 28th. Lost 3 inches of the waist to boot.
I'm LCHF which has helped a lot I have to say. More for the blood sugars as they are behaving the weight loss was a side affect to that.

Good morning. Just call me the 0.4 woman. Lost 0.4kg for the fourth week in a row. Now down to 92kg from 101.1 at diagnosis.

Soooo happy today. I've been low carbing for 6 weeks and am down by 1stone 3lb (8kg or 17lb I think)
14 stone 13 today; it was very nice to see the change in stones!

Hi Everyone. I can celebrate this week as according to the very confusing conversion site I use I have lost 2 stone. The scales are set to kg which everyone else here understands so I can report this morning I weigh 78.3 kg (was 91 in September and 89 in 2006). On the other hand my waist is bigger. Clearly I am not doing enough knitting. I am going to blame the fact that this week I have been doing my course "exercise prescription for the prevention of treatment of disease" - does anyone else read that title as something extremely odd?- There are 7 reports on exercise for T2D and reading them is making me feel exhausted. Is anyone else going to the meetup in Stratford upon Avon on the 29th?

14/4 - Morning.
Remain at exactly 13 stone - I am happy with this .
Well Done to Everybody on = Loosing and/or staying the same weight, we are all Winners. W.
