Weight gain with Lyumjev

I have been Type 1 Diabetic for 19 years. Recently changed onto Lyumjev from Fiasp and I’ve gained 9 pounds inn3 months. I eat well and exercise, and nothing else has changed. My Diabetes team adamant it’s not the insulin and likely my age .
Anyone else had rapid weight gain like this???

Hi there I am also a Ljumjev user - about a year now, I haven't gained weight with the insulin and you shouldn't do unless your ratios have changed, in theory it should help you lose weight as your control is tightened up and so less likely to use corrections for highs. What age are you ? Females with hormonal changes are more likely to hit a wall with weight, I am peri and keep the weight in control with diet, weight training and running as well as HRT - I believe Ljumjev has helped me manage it better too.

I moved about a year ago when there was humalog shortage and I also did NOT have any weight gain

Age will be a factor as you get older you need less food if you eat the same then the insulin will force the processing of all that food and the excess will be stored as fat, this is why a lot of people that start insulin gain weight because they actually eat too much
