One of my friend diagnosed last year with type 2 diabetes. He had a normal weight . He lost toomuch weight then. Now his bmi is 20. He is on diet control and taking 2000kcal per day , he is a manager in a restaurant and he is doing evening shift duty(4pm- 1 am) . He is getting 7 hrs sleep ( disturbed, need to wake up after 3 hrs of sleep , then sleep again after 2 hrs only). He want to gain 5-8 kgs without increasing blood sugar level. Could you please give some useful suggestions. So that he can follow. Should he need any protein supplements for gaining weight?
