Thanks all for the input. No, they can't unstaple it once it's done and it's been 37 years, so would probably be too late. And, yes, I've been doing the Keto as well as having to eat reduced portions. That's what I was wondering. I did read on some diabetic sites that one should only eat 3 meals per day and a snack if one is hungry, which is what my diabetic educator also told me. Then again, she told me NOT to cut out anything. Everything in moderation. Sorry, but carbs shoot my BG way up!! I can't find anywhere about diabetes and stomach stapling, except that a lot of people can get diabetes from that. Nobody told me that in 1980 I guess because it was so new and they probably didn't know. I love being this weight since I can't even remember when, but I don't want to go so low that I look sickly. I will up my portion sizes, add a bit more good fats, then proteins and see what happens. Thanks a bunch. It's good to know that others have stabilized their weight loss. Have an awesome day everyone.
