3 days ago i switched from my SDCodefree meter to my Glucomen meter. Since then I have been getting readings much higher than normal.
For example, I get 9+ after meals now, instead of the 7.5's I am used to with my SDCodefree.
Today I took readings from both meters, both at the same time, with the same drop of blood, within 1 second of each other (the time it took to put down one meter and grab the next one)
SDCodefree was 6.2 post meal
Glucomen was 7.6 post meal
the same drop of blood.
I'm confused and worried about which one is right. Although, logically, if I was often in the 9+ latest HbA1c would not be right. it would be higher I think?
any ideas please?
