Hi all!
Just wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this.
For the past few days I have had an odd numb/swollen sensation on the back of one of my calves. My leg isn't swollen and it is not painful but it feels as if a vein is swollen.
Not really sure what to do as am abroad for work but flying back to the UK on Saturday.
Any answers or suggestions would be helpful!

I have had the numbness in my leg/calf as well stl hv to see my endo, I ve only given birth a mnth ago so I dnt know whether it was sth to do with diabetes or pregnancy, and my hands are sumtimes numb as well, at times it's due to low blood sugar but at times it just happens

Thanks for the reply. I have a feeling it may be to do with poor blood circulation, as its quite hot where i am but my feet and hands are always cold, and it seems to get better if i put socks on and raise my legs - maybe something to do with increased blood flow to my feet?

Hi there @isjoberg sorry I can't relate to this, however I personally think you should call your GP and get it checked out before you travel. I recently had tendonitis and it was quite painful but not painful enough to get too worried, I left it for 5 months and finally went to the docs who diagnosed it straight away and was treated with a steroid shot the next day and the pain went, I recommend that if you have a concern it's always best to get it checked quickly ;)

I'm currently in Sweden and not quite sure who my GP is due to changing address after leaving university! Am considering trying to go to a hospital drop in but ideally don't want to spend an entire day there to be told it's nothing..
