You need to change your way of thinking. Think of cereal as a bowl of white sugar. Would you still eat it? Carb turns into sugar when you eat it and is released into bloodstream, generating insulin. Thanks Scandichic you're experience is amazing and I'd be proud of myself if I'm in a similar situation this time next year.
I have about 6 stone to lose. I know this week I've lost loads, probably cos I'm not eating much at all, mainly because I'm not sure what to eat, breakfast is hardest for me.....I'm thinking as a type - I miss my weetabix and raisins
It's the particle test which is important. The standard test measures the amount of HDL, ldl and triglycerades but not the particle size of the ldl. This is key. If the ldl particles are large in size then the amount present is not so imporant.Just keep an eye your chlesterol levels don't elevate too much when you have a higher fat diet
My cholesterol is 7.2I asked what my cholesterol level was at the docs yesterday Bri - they didn't check for that, I really should have guessed that!! My aim is low carb/ full fat - as opposed to high fat, with my cholesterol in mind, don't want one thing addressed at the expense of another.
I'm not a great fan of eggs Scandichic but I can eat them scrambled, so that's an option.
Lynn1 I love that Fage Greek yogurt, it's really creamy.
