The Wellingborough Diabetes Group was formed in July 2014. We have 40 members and counting.
I will be posting here the details of our Meetings every month except August, December and January,
Our next Meeting is on Friday the 19th of June at the Isebrook Hospital, Wellingborough, Northants,
at 3:00 pm.
We have invited Diabetes Consultant Dr. Anne Kilvert,
Associate of British Clinical Diabetologists, as our Guest Speaker.
Dr. Anne Kilvert will talk about Diabetes and Illness.
How to manage your Blood Glucose while you are ill.
How to manage your Insulin intake while you are on Steroids.
She will also talk a little about Diabetic Ketoacidosis,
which can occur in people with type 1 diabetes.
Dr. Kilvert will also talk about the latest developments
in the field of Diabetes and after that there will be a Q & A Session.
You may ask any question relating to Diabetes, that you may like.
All those in and around Wellingborough are invited to attend the Meeting.
The Meetings are FREE including Refreshments.
