Cant believe my GP Practice, with all the trouble i have had with them lately they only sent me a letter this morning saying i am overdue for my annual diabetes check. I've only had it for 6 months :crazy:

Is it annual like only one date a year and if you miss it you have to wait another 12 months?

Our annual tests are scheduled by surname so they don't relate to date of diagnosis.

I got an annual review three months after diagnosis. Now it is every January, just when I want to relax a bit and go out for Christmas meals, but I do get my bloods done before Christmas. Last time I phoned up to book it the receptionist said we don't send letters anymore and you can just book it, so this year I am going to book it for November.
