What a sad Day

What a sad day yesterday was for me :cry: Sir James Savile died at his home in Leeds..They broke the mold when they made him.
RIP Jimmy Savile

His accountant stopped counting after he got past 40 million pounds which he raised for charity...A true star and one who really deserved a Knighthood.

A much loved local boy who lived in a terrace house in Leeds and spent much of his spare time volunteering as a hospital porter at St James' Hospital - and never shouted that out over the roof-tops!

He will be much missed.

He was one in a million ! Unique , humanitarian , down to earth , cared for others before himself, bit eccentric too. [I always loved this in him]
Did the kiddies trips to blackpool with my dad when I was a young girl. [remember this well , him patting my head whilst puffing away on his mega huge cigars!]
There isnt anymore like him left... What a star , he will shine brightly in heaven ...
