what are the signs??

Hi, I hope you're all ok.

I was just wondering whether any of you have any tell tale signs that your BS is too high. I ask because due to my work and lengthy meetings, I am sometimes unable to test my BS through the day and occasionally I have had a strange sensation in my tongue where it feels like it's growing and also my feet tingle and legs feel a bit week. If I feel like that, I’ll generally just have some water and it goes away.

I used to think that maybe the feelings were due to me being a little low or that I was dehydrated but today I had the chance to test myself when I was feeling like that and my BS was 12!!!!! (It’s normally in the 6’s or 7's so I’m not sure why it shot up so high either)

So I was just wondering, do any of you get these feelings or other similar strange sensations when your BS is high or are my feelings due to something else??

Hi andrew
Here are a few things that can be a sign of high blood sugars
Need for frequent urination
Drowsiness
Nausea
Extreme hunger and/or thirst
Blurring of the vision

I find that i feel very drowsy and worn out when my blood sugars are too high!
I also find if i have a bug my blood sugars go up
