My son, Zac for world diabetes day will be spending his morning at home with myself and his sisters, after an evening of ice skating-as always. He's a fantastic skater. In the afternoon he will be at the cinema watching 2012. I will spend my day reflecting on what is nearly a year since my son was diagnosed. On reflection I will think of all children that live with type 1. You are all truly amazing.

We have formed an association called "UDF"-United Diabetic Forum"
On 15th November we are celebrating WORLD DIABETES DAY -- by inviting the general public to attend a seminar by renowned Diabetologist on DIABETES PREVENTION & MANAGEMENT
Diabetes -- its time we all fight back & be prepared.

This UDF was founded in Mumbai in may 2008 ; the aim of the forum was to bring together Health Care professionals specialized in Diabetes to bring about a consenus in Diabetes practice & mangement & to play an important role in preventing the spread of this Diabetes & Cardiovascular Pandemic in India
The Theme for WORLD DIABETES DAY from 2009-2013 " Diabetes Education & Prevention "The UDF realizing its responsibilities towards the commuinty at large has decided to have simultaneous patient education Seminar cum Workshop on Diabetes & its Complications at around 29 differnet locations in the state of Maharashtra
