What are you doing now and humorous banter.

Just sitting and feeling yumsh. Avocado and crab salad on a bed of coriander and lettuce with Thai dressing, a glass of red. All well deserved after a long walk into Oxford and back. So I'm thinking I might start a project this afternoon. I bought the card yesterday. The other thing I'm considering is writing to the Guardian and giving them some recipes ideas for low carb eaters or how to include diabetics when they come for food at your house. Yotam seems to be doing alright.

Wow Oxford!! Not the last time but the time before last I was in Oxford I came of the crown court, straight across the road into the police station, then Mrs J and myself were bundled into an unmarked police car and driven to the city boundary. Bit like the old wild west.
Core you has a posh nosh for lunch, all I got was left overs.
As for a project good luck I have lots of unfinished ones.
Mind you I did have a little excitement this morning, I had to take my motorbike for a little remedial work via the doctors for my diabetic blood test, so I parked my bike in the doctors....Note to my self I really must get the brakes fixed.

my cars mot next week be lucky if it passess ive been praying a lot lets see if it works ;)
Got our eleven year old heap through the MOT in January with no fail items. "Your battery is in very bad condition sir, we really should replace it because the cold weather will finish it off". "Is it an MOT failure fault"? "No, sir". "In that case, leave it be". Finally sold the car last week; battery still in situ and still working, having survived the Beast from the East et al. They've told me it's in bad condition every year for the past three years. Sharks, the lot of 'em :D

Well I'm wondering how I can get out of a hole I appear to have dug myself into, let me explain, I have a number of ladies in my life who are classified as girlfriends numbering 1 to 5, they all know about each other and all are friends, but nearly girlfriend number 3 is coming round tomorrow with her husband and father, which in itself is fine but Mrs J or Attila as she is known has been plotting behind my back with NGFNo3 ( nearly girlfriend number 3 ), perhaps I could escape tomorrow round to a fellow members pad swim a few million lengths to lower my blood sugars then sneak home to Mrs J when the dust has settled ? Don't all rush to answer.
Umm ... You're married and have five girlfriends? I don't think anyone will sympathize if that's the case.

Just got home from garden group...dropped parcels off at Post Office as required and succumbed to buying a cream cake (eclair) to go with my cup of tea from the shop next door.....:joyful:....

...also found two board games in a charity shop in same parade of shops for my son (he has an interest in playing board games and always looking out for different ones to try with friends or family when he comes to stay:rolleyes:)

....hope he likes them; if not I have just donated £8.50 to a local charity which he will approve of....:)

Like a some biker folk, some but not all, I keep my bikes plugged into a battery conditioner during the winter to keep the battery topped up. They work on cars also, no need for dodgy garage sharks. :)

Thb, I was hoping it would give up the ghost, thus giving me another reason to tell Mrs h-c that we had to get a new car before anything more went wrong with the existing one. However, she has finally succumbed to my incessant whining anyway, so we're sorted :)
