What are you doing now and humorous banter.

How lovely for you how long are you there for?

I like Greece a lot.

Stick around and if you like were all easy going
Στην υγειά σας! (Cheers) We'll be there for three weeks and then for another three later this year. Been going to the same village for over 20 years now and I've even got my personal tree on the beach :-)

Sounds idyllic hope the weather is warm and sunny for you

Are you staying on the mainland or one of the islands?

It’s over 20 years since I went to Greece(Kefalonia)

And you have another 3 weeks lined up - splendid

The island of Zakynthos/Zante. We'd visted several other islands before we discovered it and seem to have become stuck. We stay in a small village that has everything we want and just as importantly not much that we don't want. It takes all of 30 seconds to walk down the garden path of our studio and into the Ionian sea :-)

We went there for our honeymoon there (erm; a few years ago). It's a beautiful island although I'm told that some places are now Club 18-30 Hell. Last autumn we went to Cephalonia for a week, and it had a similar feel; unsurprisingly, as it's also in the Ionian group. We spent many happy holidays island hopping in Greece when we were younger

Had many many happy times in Greece. My last visit was for a friend’s god daughter’s wedding. They’re Greek, and the wedding was wonderful! Sugared almonds, dancing, music; the ceremony and celebration were just perfect.
I love Cephalonia too jay, especially the sea, and the smell of herbs (and ripe goats) that comes in the car window as you drive along precipitous roads.
