What can I buy to eat in my local ASDA

Strange that the NHS advice has actually got worse ... although having said that I think a lot of the doctors reactions to the 600 calorie diet is pretty typical .

That's good that you have a GP who's switched on

I hate to say this, but if you follow the NHS and DUK dietary advice, you won't have retinopathy, you'll be totally blind. The NHS/DUK diet is killing thousands of diabetics needlessly.

That is just so over the top Defren, millions of people follow the NHS advice and very few go blind, please stop this low carb propaganda and just stick to facts. It helps to reduce carbs, yes. The NHS advice is not perfect but it is not making every one blind.

If you have proof that everyone who follows NHS guidelines goes blind and dies then fine but until you do please refrain from your horror stories as all they do is scare people into a diet that is unnecessary for most diabetics.

I wish there were more of them, and all diabetics were on a level playing field. Sadly it's more a postcode lottery which I believe is so very, very wrong.
