What cover of a song is as good as or better than the original?

So, I found this folk power metal cover of a Manowar tune..

Not normally an “axe swinging” metal kind of guy myself. But this takes the award for “owning it” with a few guest vocalists incorporated, for me?

This band also do an outrageously good ABBA cover. But could be deemed as a little too saucy for a mixed community..
