Husband was at new diabetic nurse for his 6 monthly check, and she said he was 43 and that was quite good, down from 46 last time. What does that mean? he thinks the previous nurse used a different system like 6.1.

I cant get that link to open it jams up my laptop. But why would she use American scale when we're in Scotland and always have been? lol -Can anybody tell me if 43 is good then? It was his 6 monthly check.

If you're in Scotland has your husband joined 'My Diabetes My Way'? You can get all your results online and see whether you're on target or not. 43 is equal to 6.1, which is very good. 46 would have been 6.4.

Was diagnosed in March with a reading of 50 now just had blood test it's down to 43 by diet and lifestyle well pleased .
