General question if anyone can interpret the information for me and tell me how my body is coping and if the results are what would be expected a for type 2.
Today I decided to put my diabetes to the test as my GP says I am ''borderline'' but my nurse says I AM Type2 diabetic. My original HbA1c was 6.5...and FBG was normal
Today my FBG was 5.3 and I decided to test what would have been a normal breakfast before my above blood results. That was one slice of Best of Both toast spread with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. I tested my bg after one hour and it came in as 8.7.....after two hours it came in as ..7.6.....after 3 hours it came in as 5.0
I am asking if those readings would indicate type 2 diabetes or pre diabetes? I am totally confused as no one at my doctors surgery will give me an answer.
I have previously tested a ''normal lunch'' which was a ham salad baguette and that came in at 14.9 after 2 hours...coming down to 6.1 after 4 hours which to me indicates that I am indeed diabetic.??? Opinions would be appreciated please as I have little knowledge about it all and nowhere else to go for answers due to lack of co operation at my surgery. I have eaten as a type 2 since my blood tests as all places online I have checked have said 6.5 HbA1c is diabetic.
