I'm sure there's more.
I nearly rear ended one of your vans recently! Dozy me's fault of course. Yeah first half of last year there'd be thirty posts before 10 am.hey JTL - you have been around a while and are a legend not only in number of postings but also in knowledge , attitude and tolerance. so i respect that you must see less peeps posting......................... but
the site seems as busy as ever to me -- I can't possibly keep up , to post in all the topics I want to .
The greater the body of knowledge and the better the search engine, the fewer questions are likely to be asked. Just a fact of life in a growing body of knowledge. It's still busy but mostly with chat threads which is a shame.
Why is it a shame? many people need emotional support. Once people learn how to control their diabetes they can give and receive support to help with everyday living. Not everyone enjoys or needs academic argumentIt's still busy but mostly with chat threads which is a shame.
I've rarely seen you reply to newbies threads, you mostly hang out on the music threads, don't you?Last year this place was buzzing. Endless posts and advice from regular members endless new folk joining up to ask advice and offer it too. Every morning was a fasting readings topic where we'd all post everyday our bleary eyed readings.
This place helped me to get really good control of my diabetes ... something I wouldn't have to this day if I had stuck with NHS/NICE out of date guidelines.
Like they say ... if you don't use it you'll lose it.
The people who own the site will have to walk away as will the advertisers and the revenue. I hope that doesn't happen.

I like the quiz/chat threads myself but sometimes that seems to be all there is. And for the record, academic argument is not for me.Why is it a shame? many people need emotional support. You're right but only because my information has been wrong to many times for newbies. I'll try harder.I've rarely seen you reply to newbies threads, you mostly hang out on the music threads, don't you?
Mod edit to remove reference to another member who hasn't contributed to the thread.

Don't be put off, I've had some discussions with mods over some of mine!
But I've been so pleased to help those that really need it!
