Verbally she said type 1 is only in children, or up to 21!
Please show her this. (And tell her that this doesn't even include all the misdiagnosed 'T2's on insulin' who were diagnosed between their 40's and 90's.
Finding out you don't have T2 is often initiated by the patient, not their hcp, and if people are told very early on that T1 is impossible, chances are they'll never do the research on it if things don't add up with their treatment.
I haven't posted on here in ages, I'll try to do better!
I've been working on the bridge for a good 3 weeks now, and it's still going well!
I enjoy my days on the bridge, and so far I've actualy eaten better on the bridge than at home.
I guess this has to do with absolutely having to plan my meals beforehand and taking them with me, where at home I can decide I'll just improvise with whatever I can find and go for groceries tomorrow. Which often means I end up eating a LC sandwich or one of those fish things from Aldi and nothing else.
I've worked on monday and tuesday, still struggling to get enough sleep before working days so today was a very lazy day where I didn't do the planned shopping and had two slices of LC toast for dinner. One with ham and eggs, another half slice with butter and marmite, and the last half with blue cheese.
Yesterday I had friends with their daughter visiting my bridge. Nine years old is the perfect age to be delighted to press all the buttons to operate the bridge, so she did 3 times! The only buttons I kept for myself were those to let the barriers for cars and bikes down, those are the ones where things can go wrong.
Cleaning tomorrow, first time in almost 3 weeks my help is coming, so things have gotten rather out of hand between the new job and household chores. We'll have to do a lot, including the bed just in case, I'll have a date on friday!
We'll go sailing so I don't expect to need a clean house, but you never know...
No I really shouldn't, I work on saturday and sunday but still. So far we've only communicated through sms and he hasn't even seen a picture of me, but the conversation has been very enjoyable. And this one's looking for a serious relationship so I'm rather nervous.
So instead of preparing meals for the weekend on the bridge on friday afternoon I'll bring a brown block from the freezer to work for the weekend. Found one labeled 'stew-very good'. No idea what it is but I suppose it's very good and it should get me through the weekend.
