Yikes! There are all sorts of things we're better off not knowing, for sure!You have to be careful though with getting DNA checked -a man I know recently found that he wasn't related to his Dad at all!
It is supposed to lower the GI of the food by slowing down gastric emptying - either used as a condiment or taken as some kind of dose - but if you take Lansoprazole, which reduces the amount of stomach acid produced to help with acid reflux it's probably best to be on the safe side and check with your GP (sorry, I know that's not easy). Google searches suggest not even using vinegar as a condiment if you take LansoprazoleRice with vinegar though - hadn't heard of that and might give it a go.
