Yes learning all the time. Thanks. I was hoping the olives and almonds would help bring it down. Not sure now.if it was my system or the foods.Returning to 6.7 at 2 hours is good, it shows something inside your body is working well. I must add, however, that if you are going to test out a meal you must not eat anything else within that 2 hour period or it will skew the results.
(The spike over 5mmol/l at 1 hour is not good though, especially as it took you to double figures. You were lucky you came down so quickly).

Thanks Dibbles I will give that a try. I also read another post where they soak their porrige oats overnight in cream, yoghurt and berries which sounds yummy! I'll continue experimenting and report backI can't do porridge, although I love it wiith salt and water, still spikes me.
Then my bs drops like a stone if I exercise, causing a hypo.
Greek full fat natural style yoghurt, some berries and maybe a few seeds of some kind?
I sometimes have a few tiny wholegrain wheats or a tiny sprinkling of granola with my berries and yoghurt. Still spikes but nowhere near as high.
can I trouble you to explain how to attach a photo?

I wonder if the resistant starch thing would work with porridge? Ie make it at night. Cool it and reheat? Anyone ? I miss my porridge
