Following yesterday's revelation that oats aren't that great for meI decided to try burgen bread and eggs. Oh my god! It was so good. And these results are good aren't they?
Pre 6.5
Post hour 6.9
Also had coffee with it so I can't blame coffee for yesterday's spike.
Bye bye muesli!
On a positive note, dropping that option means a reduction in at least 30g of carbs.....

Diagnosed prediabetic Easter 2014. Just left to get on with it, no guidance or help from GP. Every day I'm learning something new.
Sadly no coconut oil in our local Tesco as it is only a metro. Nor our local sainsburysYou can also get it in Tesco x
But the carbs are mainly from polyols which dont affect blood sugar.......I believe.AndBreathe said:They may be sugar-free, but still carb laden, if the package I read were anything to go by.
great idea for the jars!Sadly no coconut oil in our local Tesco as it is only a metro. Nor our local sainsburysThe amazon stuff (Lucy Bee) is good value with free delivery. The jars are very nice too so will used them as nut storage jars when finished
Well thought out strategy @Brunneria. Love your thinking. While you are stuffed up with delicious fry up, why not throw the mash out for the birds? They will appreciate it.
I also cook Mediterranean veg but I take a piece of sea bass (skin side up) put 4 pieces of asparagus on top, a slice of lemon then make into parcel , securing with a cocktail stick and plonk on top for last 10 mins. Yum!On waking: 6 cashews
Breakfast (late): 3 eggs, scrambled in butter
Snack: macdonalds drive thru latte (small)
Dinner: chicken breast scattered with grated cheese (ate the skin on Wed) with masses of lovely roast Mediterranean veg. Yum.
Late: probably a peanut 9 bar
Last thing: 6 cashews
