What have you eaten today?

Breakfast scrambled egg bacon
Lunch cheese and spinach frittata and coleslaw and salad from deli..coleslaw was delicious ( must have had zillions of calories as soooo creamy) but frittata a bit bland.
Dinner chicken faijtas, stir fried onion and peppers and feta in iceberg wraps ; small portion almond flour crumble and creme Fraiche
Snacks cheese and a soya latte
 
Smoked salmon mousse for brekkie.
Creamy coffee.
Brie and posh scratchings
Chicken stir fried with broccoli and asparagus
Maybe berries and cream at 10 pm...
 
I'm still eating a truck load of carbs to increase my weight.

Breakfast:
Aldi Weetbix's (x4)
Chia Wholegrain brown bread (x2)
A cup of scald

Lunch:
Wholegrain Crispbread with Cheese and herb spread, tuna, oregano and parsley (x2)
Small boiled egg, mashed in a cup with Cheese and herb spread and a sprinkle of oregano and parsley
Chia Wholegrain brown bread (x2)
Small bit of spicy couscous from Aldi's
50g blueberries in a cup with a dollop of natural yoghurt

Dinner:
Gonna have spaghetti bolognese now in a few mins.
how does the truck load of carbs affect your readings?
 
@Brunneria I stocked up on peanut 9 bars today. Wow they are so good. Quite sweet though as I haven't eaten anything like that for ages and filling so won't overeat!. Couldn't test today but will try to tomorrow.

I had a bowl of chocolate mug cake for supper with thick cream...I don't very often and found myself at a nasty 11 this morning...feel.v cross with myself...I guess it just pushed the carbs a little too high.....
 
Breakfast. Yoghurt and raspberries and chia seeds
Lunch was tin of tuna mixed with horseradish and salad
Early dinner. 2 salmon steaks and green beans and broccolli. 6.2 before dinner
 
Bacon x2 scrambled egg x2 made with butter
This afternoon four dessertspoons cream ..just had to do it ...

Dinner ..chirizo and peppers with tinned tomatoes topped with cheese and some brocolli on the side .
 
Normal fruit and berries breakfast .
Lunch was a revelation for me ...chicken curry with cauliflower instead of rice ...great I don't need rice at all now.
 
breakfast black pudding, mushrooms, bacon

snack soya latte, slice ham
Also had to have a sq dark chocolate at 3pm because I started shaking and was so cold- tested and 3.7 so suspect I was starting to go hypo. Beginning to wonder if some of the things I've put down to panic attacks are not actually just low blood sugars.
 
Up & down every few days, cannot sustain level BG like in summer

B small bowl of bran flakes ( late for work otherwise would be bacon)
L stir fry vegetables with garlic
D chicken coconut soup
Nut ball
 
Breakfast: cheddar and Quorn chorizo omelette.

Lunch: savoury almond muffin, fennel tea.

Dinner: marrow spaghetti in cheese sauce with beany ratatouille.

Snack: almonds.
 
Alliebee it wasn't rice it was just cauliflower but once cut up and curry over the top it honestly was just like rice. I had read about it and thought yuck but today I tried it and liked it.
 
I never seen this before with my readings.
The same 2 hrs post dinner as it Was 2hrs after breakfast.
Just done bed reading at 6.5, only had a sugar free jelly & some apple & cinnamon cake the OH made.[not bad for first attempt]
