@Blessedarethecheesemakers

For the next Pizzagate:
http://www.fathead-movie.com/index....e-older-brothers-oldest-sons-faux-carb-pizza/
Just remember to cook the pizza base on both sides, before adding the toppings.
I prefer this to 'real' pizza.
And I realise how odd that sounds.

OOH brunneria that looks fantastic, and so easy - thank you so much. And I have almond flour at home (not here while I'm away unfortunately but I will look for it in the shops) and normally have cream cheese and eggs so I could easily knock it up.

I haven't got a sweet tooth but find a square of 85% chocolate is nice treat to round off meal with a coffee. Also the two chapatis will be quite carby so it maybe that that has set you off craving.

I often have a few nuts after dinner - usually almonds - and that helps kill that post dinner urge for me.

Thanks, I'll look to replace the chapatis with some salad. Had some cashew nuts and raisins about an hour after finishing dinner. Just took a reading 2 hours after dinner and 1 hour after cashew and raisins and it is 5.9. Was 4.6 pre-dinner. All in all not too much damage considering the cravings.

I love curry and often have it with a pan of sautéed cabbage.

B: a plateful of bacon, dry fried, and tomatoes fried in the bacon fat
L : oats, yoghurt, cream and blackberries
D: couple of burgers with cheese on top
Probably have berries yoghurt and cream later tonight

Hmmm. Trying to remember as far back as yesterday... :)

B: double sausage and egg McMuffin, minus half the muffin and minus all the hash brown. Latte.
L: crustless quiche, peppers and some berries&cream
S: 11g toffee popcorn. Great flavour, with none of that sugary crunchy stuff. Very nice. Looking forward to more.
D: enormous green salad, meaty breakfast balls, coleslaw, caulicheese. Very odd combo, but by heck it worked.

We were watching the second episode of Walking Dead (latest season) during dinner, which set up a kind of weird dissonance with the meat eating. Esp the breakfast balls...

Try using chick pea flour mixed with your wholemeal chupatti flour. It will help. Reduce portion size to one and have more fats with your carbs. Good Luck

My Christmas day food has consisted of:

bullet coffee and smoked salmon with scrambled egg, one glass of champagne and some fresh coffee

some nuts and a bit of leftover chinese from last night and some champagne berry spritzer

Main event was roast chicken, chipolatas wrapped in bacon, sprouts, leeks, carrots, bread sauce, roast butternut squash and a little gravy and cranberry sauce. Glass of champagne.

Will have some sugar free berry trifle and cheese selection later. And maybe a little Nigella late night snacking of christmas bits in the fridge!

Evenin' All!

A very peaceful day here. Just Mr B, myself, the two hounds and the cat (who hasn't been seen since breakfast).

B: breakfast balls (we'd planned scram eggs and smoked salmon but didn't feel like it. Maybe tomorrow.
S: a square of fudge and some cranberry cream cheese roulade thing.
D: steak, fried onions, Stilton and salad, followed by (me) a LC mug cake with mince meat in the middle, with cream, (Mr B) Xmas pud and posh custard.

Doubt if we'll eat again for several days.
It was my turn to sprawl on the floor and get clambered, stampeded and chewed by the new puppy, so Mr B went out yesterday to buy the steaks. He volunteered. I didn't suspect that this was because he could then choose the size of the steaks! Really, I should know better by now.

I had to use two frying pans, one for each steak.

Mine was so tender I could cut it with my fork.

BG perfect.

I love, low carb.

:smug:

B: Salmon (not smoked) & scrambled egg, surprise surprise
L: Roast turkey, roast veg (no spuds, parsnip or carrot), steamed greens, wheat-free gravy
D: Cold turkey, salad, gherkins, mayo
Went for a walk after breakfast and another after lunch
I made a coconut & chocolate cheesecake as per http://www.diabeticgoodbaking.com/ which is so rich we had a slice each and froze the rest.
Hope you all had a good day.

Well today went better than I expected. I'm going bed at 8.0. Too high I know but it was a great day. Probably the champagne kept me lower than I expected as I had stilton and pork pie earlier it was lush though. Night all x

Hi Alliebee. Seems like a few of us are going to bed on a higher than normal reading but acceptable. Mine was 7.2 and I had a fair bit to eat today. I've even got enough left to have the same tomorrow but this time I won't be bothered after the reading I got tonight. Might even add a Christmas pud and cream if I can find a shop that's open.:D

Its one day a year. well 2 with tomorrow but its been a great day and we will all get back on the straight and narrow :)

4 miles walking and runnning today...after dinner numbers 5.6 even after a scoop of ice cream WOW

Breakfast bacon scrambled egg
Lunch turkey roast pork, few carrots, tbsp peas, broccoli, roast turnip, pigs in blankets , stuffing ball , tbsp unsweetened apple sauce , gravy ( and roast spud on plate but decided I'd prefer more pork so handed it over to hubby)
Snack teeny sliver chocolate cake about size of quarter of a matchbox if that , two dark choc brazils
Tea cold turkey, pate, cheese, 1/8th mini pork pie pickled onions , ham

Hello everybody, I hope you all had lovely Christmases. My food:

B: 2 boiled eggs, nibbled on some cheese with chilli in.
L: Turkey, beef, ham. Cauliflower, beans, brocolli. Gravy, and cheese sauce (probably with some carbs - was at someone else's house). Dessert: Very small portion of each of the following: Christmas pud with cream, white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake, trifle. The best part of a bottle of Champagne :) Coffee with cream.
D: cold roast chicken, lettuce, tomato, avocado, spring onion, aioli.

So all in all, as Christmas days go, not too bad. I felt like I was making positive food choices (dessert and champagne, but no mince pies or chocolates or potatoes. Had it been my potatoes that I make it might have been a different story).
