Mmm I love lamb.

Lamb is awesome. Possibly my dream low-carb meal (that I plan to do for Easter):

- Lamb shoulder, slow-cooked for at least 5 hours with garlic and rosemary
- cauliflower cheese (with leek if the husband isn't partaking as he is an allium-hater except for garlic)
- roasted aubergine
- Savoy cabbage sautéed in butter and a bit of sesame oil.

B: mushroom, leek omelette and some ham

L: chicken Milanese with rocket salad (was out for lunch and coped ok with the breadcrumb coating)

S: lidl chillies stuffed with cream cheese

D: will be lamb curry, bit of dhal- no bread or rice

B - peanut 9bar and sugar free jelly with cream lol
L - Mediterranean salad with chicken and a little cheese
D - salmon cooked with a little oll, lemon and garlic served with broccoli
S - pork scratchings

B: coffee with cream. I was in a rush so I didn't have anything to eat until I got to work. I have discovered smoked cooked bacon rashers which are sold in the Co-op. They are lovely as a snack, tho I had them for breakfast, and they are totally carb free!
L: Bit naughty as I succumbed to chicken curry and rice. I haven't had rice for months so I was a bit nervous. I don't know if it was a psychological effect but I felt slightly nauseous afterwards, and I felt very tired in the afternoon. I also felt very guilty for indulging myself :-( and I've told my colleagues not to let me do it again. Surprisingly, my bg was only 7.4 two hours afterwards.
D: still felt quite full from lunchtime and actually dozed off when I got home  just had some yoghurt berries cream and oats.

B: 3 good sausages (I'm getting tired of typing '97% meat' so from here on in, they'll be 'good' )
S: 2 'good' chocolate squares ;)!
L: hummus, taramasalata, dipped with broccoli bits, baby carrots, baby corn and green beans. Olives. Yum
S: 9bar
D: chicken, courgettes and peppers in a pataks biriani paste and cream sauce.

Stuffed

Edited to add: and a coffee with cream, and an onion bhaji. Which I had forgotten, despite them both being delicious.

Apple cider vinegar, warm water and manuka honey is brilliant for infections - it is so soothing when you're poorly... It helps with sinus problems too... I have cinnamon and turmeric every day in my smoothies - I'm hoping it will help me with my BG... My bother swears he's lost his foggy brain and the pain from his feet since he's been taking them.. :)

A work colleague also swears by cider vinegar tea in the morning really helps his arthritis

B: Total, 10 frozen blueberries, hot toasted flaked almonds, cinnamon and vanilla
S: coffee, cream, walnuts, square inch of cheese
L: Chilli con Quorne, and cauli 'rice'. Chia seed and almond milk dessert, with cream and 1 tsp of plum and raspberry purée. Part 1
D: Mr. L's delicious home made tomato soup, 3 Melt crackers (No-No!) , celery and peanut butter. Chia seed dessert, part 2

Check up this morning - nursie was pleased with my weight loss and BP, but frustrated with my invisible veins. She got there in the end.

I think a lot of folk on here eat LivLife @s_k_s
Great way to reduce my carb intake at breakfast. I was taking in 15g-17g per slice which was a waste of my daily allowance. Need to get some tomorrow. I'll have to explore the Livlife range.

<Edit> only 1 product it seems so not much of a range!>

Breakfast poached egg, rasher bacon, tin of mushrooms
Lunch cheese, celery, carrot, lettuce , tbsp coleslaw and some chicken tikka slices
dinner belly pork done in slow cooker with cyder vinegar and onions and sage, few carrots, peas, broccoli, roast swede.
snack some dark choc and soy latte
