I'm an Ex-Diabetic, I put my diabetes into remission (after 10plus yrs) in 2017 within weeks by going LCHF, and progressing to the Ketogenic Lifestyle. I progressed in Febr. 2018 to Zero Carbs aka Carnivore Lifestyle.
I do not trouble myself much with LDL cholesterol values nor do I take statins although advised by my cardiologist.
As I'm not yet allowed to post links and I cannot “advise” anyone because I'm not medically trained.
I can only suggest to you, if or when you have the time, to search on YouTube for the presentations/lectures (see below) by cardiologist Dr. Nadir Ali and Dr. Paul Mason and draw your own conclusions.
Dr. Nadir Ali - 'Why LDL cholesterol goes up with a low-carb diet and is it bad for health?'
Dr. Paul Mason - 'The truth about high cholesterol' (Lecture 1 of 3)
Dr. Paul Mason - 'The shady truth about statins' (Lecture 2 of 3)
Dr. Paul Mason - ''Is your cardiologist a clot? Bonus - death by seed oils' (Lecture 3 of 3)
Happy viewing and good luck with your choices. Keep good, keep well, and stay happy.
