Depends what your starting figures are. I got down to under 40 hba1c but it took me a year. My morning levels were around the 9s and 10s and over the months they slowly came down via 8s and 9s and then 7s and 8s. Now I am mostly 4s and 5s. It takes time and you have to work at it. Things don't happen quickly because if you don't eat any carbs, your body produces its own glucose from its own stores. But, over time that is good because it is causing biochemical changes to your blood. But, it is not instant by any means.
