What is carb flu?

PLease, Could you explain what carb flu is? Symptoms and the cause? and what do you do to alleviate that?

Carb Flu , is when your body goes from carb burning to fat burning ie.Ketosis......

Basically your just feel rough for a while, as in flu, mine only lasted a day and was more of a cold :)

Some get it worse, some better, some not at all.............

I just spent the day on the couch...........:)
 
It can be related to an electrolyte imbalance as your body sheds water and electrolytes when carbohydrates are restricted. Most of the lowcarb experts suggest drinking bone broth or boullion. Also pays to up your water consumption.
 
Mine lasted for about 2 weeks, but ever since then I've been fine. I think you're supposed to drink water to help, this is something I didn't know about at the time.
