What is your BMI, I am prediabetic and slim and found mine dropped lower the lower my BMI, which I am very pleased about my last one was 32. I eat carbs in the form of veggies mainly, I do indulge in a little 0%fat total greek yoghurt, nuts are a good snack. I have been low carbing for a few years now. Initially I did have the problem of losing too much weight but it has stablized now.

I'm in a similar pickle @dvd so have just started to increase my intake of good fats - avocados, nuts, olive oil etc.... Have also upped my protein a little as I'm exercising more at the moment so hopefully a little extra muscle weight will come my way :)

Hi dvd, the best way is to adjust the ratio of carb to protein to fat, i do 40 carb 80 protein and 150 fat but portion control is what works for me, check your bmi and your weight and eat three quarters of the daily recommended calories and see how you go.

It's a difficult problem for people who do not want or need to loose weight.
For me it is a balancing act I have gone up to 42 from 40 but if I eat what they advice I loose weight.
I have been snacking on nuts but guess I need to cut down because too many are not good.
I also have other health problems so cannot up the fat I eat, I need to eat less fat not more.
Best of luck
