Hi dvd, the best way is to adjust the ratio of carb to protein to fat, i do 40 carb 80 protein and 150 fat but portion control is what works for me, check your bmi and your weight and eat three quarters of the daily recommended calories and see how you go.Got my hb1ac result which was 40 ..down from 44 .. so as to maintain this level plus i cannot afford to loose any more weigh what do i do now ???... i am scared to eat any carbs . Any help would be great ... thks ..
