Hi All
Tested my sugars at 7.30am and it was 4.6 which I feel is very good.I had a bowl of All Bran with blueberries and 1 apple and 6 units of novarapid. I then tested my sugars at 9.45am and it was 11.4 (not happy) Just been for a 6.5 mile run and my sugars are 3.6. Im a bit confused because normally my exercise doesnt really effect my sugars until around 6hrs after and also Im not really sure what should happen to my sugars when Ive eaten? Is it normal for sugars to rise quite high and then gradually drop with the insulin or should the insulin taken after a meal kick in straight away keeping sugars level. Was my problem not having enough novarapid? Im trying to reduce my insulin intake so Ive reduced my carbs by quite alot but seem to be having a few teething problems??
