What shud levels ne ?

Been to see my diabetes specilist and she says as long as my levels are between 5/10 then im controlled is this right.
Also before bed I was 6.5 woke up this mornibg to a 8.3 mightily confused any ideas if this is right thanks .x

8.3 in the morning is higher than you would like, but as a diabetic you are bound to see higher readings in the morning due to liver dump and insulin resisting hormones.......

are you on any medication......?

Im on metformin 100o mgs at night its usually in the 7s whicch the consultant said was ok so im confused a lot
