What type of bed do you have?

I need to replace our bed and I'm curious to know what type of bed might be best for a diabetic i.e, bearing in mind we need good circulation and comfort. I also have a bad back so need to consider that too.
Have been looking at a pocket sprung with natural fibre pillow top but tempted by the new igel and latex options as well.
Apologies if I should be posting on a bed forum but I'd like to know what works best for you?
Thanks!

I've got memory foam on top of springs (not pocket ones). Very comfortable.

Mine is memory foam top, but incorporated in the mattress ( so not separate) lovely and comfortable..

Good luck

RRB :)

That's right a good 3 or 4 inch memory foam on top of your old mattress and that's job done:))

I wouldn't get a complete memory foam mattress the one in my spare room is and I used to sweat so much in that bed like i had done a 5 mile run it also made my bad back worse as the mattress contours your body shape. I now have a deep firm mattress no more sweating and a great nights sleep :)

Mine is a all in one double mattress, with memory foam incorporated on top :)

We have a Loaf Pocket Spring Extra Firm Mattress - it's amazingly comfortable!

It's the company who make them. We were so impressed, we furnished our spare bed with one,

I find memory foam far too hot and sweaty. And I haven't hit menopause yet. Dreading it!

We have a Magniflex mattress. From QVC - purely because they let you sleep on it for a month. If you don't like it, just send it back, and they collect for free.

We love it. Brilliant support and comfort. I have much less back pain, and Mr B gets less hip pain.

A zip n link 6' bed... Best bed ever had. Always end up with 3'spare but the extra space allows room next to pillow for my pump meter to go. I know I could keep it on bedside but testing at 3am it much easier when just by my pillow rather than fumbling around in the dark.

Also allows bed to be split in two if kids come and stay.. However, its so fantastic I have refused to give it up and got them blow up beds instead!!
