Strict fast(not even water) between about 2030hrs and 0915 hrs so just short of 13 hrs after eating two meals made for me by a colleague's wife whilst I'm in hospital. She was unaware of my diabetes and used Palm sugar in the curry and highly sugared tomato puree and Brown sugar in the ratatouille. Delicious,well meaning but just wires crossed on dietary needs.......she was making it extra luxurious as a treat bless her.

Knew it would be high as was stressed due to difficulties getting calculated for antibiotics this morning.......not the nurses fault.....my veins are mush after 4 weeks of IV antibiotics 6 times a day
