What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good Morning and 5.5 for me today, my morning readings are still up and down like a yoyo.

Thank you and also thanks to all who were understanding and encouraging yesterday. This unfortunately is not going to be an easy ride.

We were discussing the future and what ifs with our kids last night whilst having family meal, trying to formulate some sort of plan should any of us get this Virus. Sorted unsatisfactory but a plan all be it with much uncertainty about when to self isolate, from us and their partners older relatives? Their biggest concern was the difficulty of how do you know you don't have C19 should you have no symptoms?

Take from your day all the joy and positive thoughts and actions you are able.

So great that you are doing this. Surprised that you have had to work quite hard to find a way to do it.

5.2 this morning. Was going to catch up with the posts when I got back from the classes last night but by the time I made the kefir, took the dogs out and did a fruitless search for a document I have mislaid it was 10.30on and I was so tired I fell asleep.

Off doggie walking shortly. Hope to read some posts before its off to work again.

Morning all. Hugs for the judgement of Solomon needed by those with relatives either elderly or in care homes in these times. Even if asymptomatic it is a moral maze - big tester for many next weekend and my 90 yo MIL a worry but at least she still drives and uses internet. Good start to the day bg wise @karen8967 and @Muddy Cyclist. My fbg was 6.1 which is a horror show viewed purely as T2 control. My body may be far more crafty and take a much more nuanced view. Hungry all evening so ate more - all fitted in ketoworld - slept longer, pb on deep sleep and I can probably carry the .5 kg. @SaskiaKC Defoe book was the subject of this column yesterday https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/mar/13/plague-coronavirus-british-panic-buying. Have a great weekend folks.

That poor priest must be demented not being able to keep his churches safe.
I am glad you were able to get the ball rolling. Well done

Morning all a nice round Book him Danno 5.0 today.
Intending to go to the Lanhydrock Parkrun again this morning. My weather app says it’ll be dry and 10 degrees, however I’m looking out of the window at horizontal rain. Although it half killed me last week ( it’s very hilly) I think it has done my BG the world of good.
Keep washing those hands folks and enjoy your weekend.
@Krystyna23040 I was surprised it was quite so hard too. Hope the weather stays fine for your doggy walk.

Morning All. 6.0 today, chicken Tikka Masala from the supermarket to blame! Back on the wagon. Just fed the girl cats and Mr Fuzz so now planning my day with a cup of tea.
Bit of cooking for today and tomorrow, bit of ironing in the mix. Annoyingly have to go back to town due to my watch not working but will be a brief trip, very brief. Other than that have enough food in for a week or more just topping up bread and milk and veg, salad at Tesco Express. Collecting our friend from hospital tomorrow to stay with us for two weeks. Mr PM working from home this coming week so that will be interesting as tv and kettle noises cause great eye rolling.
Whatever you do today enjoy it. Stay well, stay safe.

I do that with Popeye. He has to play hunt the food. Glares at me when he can't find it...I do make it a bit difficult. Then if I have made it too hard, then I do a trail of cat biscuits to it...

Sorry about the creepy crawlies, I shall try to do better today..

I think a large proportion of the congregations are elderly so even more of a worry. He said he’d come across a prayer recently which talked about bad situations bringing out the best and the worst in people. I certainly think we’ve seen a lot of the worst up to now, but I expect we will hear some heartwarming stories of neighbourliness and kindness as this situation drags on. Much the same happened in 2009 with the swine flu as I recall.

Hope all is well with your friend, it’s a lovely thing you’re doing. I’m sure she’ll be enchanted by Mr Fuzz looking in the window too.
I laughed at Mr PM eye rolling at the small noise disturbances.

I think I forgot to post my fbg...
Attempt one was 7.9
Noooo...
Attempt two was 8.1
Oh forget it....

WhatsApp ing son with instructions where will is. And codacils. And more stuff. And instructions.

Now to seize the day, and have fun...with these recalcitrant sketch and paint apps...it is a flipping sight easier to actually paint than figure out the complicated settings in these sketch and paint apps. I can see a few being deleted from my iPad today...

Take care

There is something I have written out and it is always by my bed on the wall so I can look at it any time @DJC3
Here it is...

"Be still and know that I am God at work in this situation now"

I am not religious, but I do find peace in empty churches, and secluded places, empty beaches by the waves, and stone circles ...I also collect sayings and phrases that resonate with me.

Take care

@gennepher if you need good sanitising gel go QUICKLY to Victoria Health website and order DermaCare. I have just done so.
Alert for anyone interested.

Maybe it's time I read Defoe? I never could get into Robinson Crusoe ... maybe A Journal of the Plague Year ...

I would rather try to train KittenCat to hunt the cockroaches.

5.9 this morning and I find I have to travel across the city, so an hour on public transport.

I have no doubt that I will contract the virus at some point because that's how they work. My friend in Wales has requested all my electronics and said if he goes first I can have his wife. I'm not sure that's a fair exchange though, my computer is nearly new and his missus has been around a while and is rubbish at searching the net
