What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Today's pastel painting before rain drove us indoors.
I was working under my thatched swing so I was fine...

It has been alternately blue skies with no clouds and then skies with dramatic clouds this morning.

Cat and I are back in bed to get warm...it is actually quite chilly out there.

5.7 - so got away with a 'too much cream day yesterday.
Shopping done by Mr K. He got to Aldi at 7.40am and was told to go straight in as they were opening for the oldies at 7.30am. As they hadn't seemed to have told anyone there was no-one else in the shop and he did the shop in record time. No queuing at all.

Did washing and doggie walks. Spent an hour talking shop to a colleague. Luckily I remembered to recharge my phone last night. On a course this afternoon so am trying to catch up with work before them. A very busy day.

Gorgeous gennepher and I'm closing the garden doors on these two they can knock when they want to come in freezing here.

Thank you very much @HarryBeau for the compliment

My posterior is absolutely freezing here with sitting on that wooden swing. I need a hot water bottle to warm it. The furry hot water bottle is on my stomach...

It is deceptively icy...

There will be a lot of mental strain to deal with. A good number for anyone feeling such anguish may want to use 116 123 - The Samaritans are always there for all in need.

All the very best to your nephew. Keep him safe. Our nephew inadvertently was cross infected at age 16 and it prevented his transplant going ahead.

A long time since I have seen Morris Dancers...
There are still plenty of them about, two of our folk band members play and dance, regularly including Boxing Day and nEw Years Day, that was before all this lockdown. VIrtual Morris Dancing?

Great sky again @gennepher these pastels certainly work well for you.

“Hal-An-Tow, jolly Rumbelow,
We were up, long before the day-oh,
To welcome in the summer, to welcome in the May-oh,
Summer is a-comin in, and winter’s gone away-oh.”
The Ironmen Dance men sing one that may be sensored here, but I will try. They dance it to a rather frightening stick dance.

'MY friend Billy had a ten foot W$!!&* ( rhymes with Billy)
He showed it to the girl next door,
SHe thought it was a snake and hit it with a rake.
And now it's only five foot four'

Sorry ,to all the sensitive souls reading this post.

Thank you for the compliment @Muddy Cyclist
I do like using pastels...outdoors.
They are very satisfying to use.

I am not talking to the cat at the moment.

I had almost finished an email, the last paragraph to go, when he begins mithering me to go to the potting shed. I told him in a minute. So he put his paw on my iPad and sent the email and I couldn't stop it because he was in the way.

So I had to send another quick email to do the final paragraph. Popeye flicks his tail and gets off the bed.

I send the email, get off the bed, put my feet into my clogs, but one clog has warm liquid in it...

Popeye looks at me from the door with wide eyes...

I say my piece to him, but he puts his tail in the air and walks to the door to outside and looks at the Potting Shed....

He is now in the Potting Shed, but on the naughty step....alone...

I am now back in bed with clean feet, clogs are in the sink being washed.

And I am now going to finish my emails in peace, and if it is still daylight, I will take a book and a cuppa out there and join Popeye...

By the way he has an immaculately clean cat tray with brand new cat litter in it....so he was making a point....

Oh no - how could he do that. I quite understand why you are not talking to Popeye, but you do have to secretly admire his ingenuity.

Did my first Zoom course this afternoon. Thankfully I wasn't the only Zoom 'first timer ' there.

Very interesting course which included some really sensible adaptations to how we teach clients with osteoporosis. Part 2 of the course is on Monday.

So nice that I can continue with my training and stay safe.

That sounds brilliant @Krystyna23040
Congratulations
