Happy Beltane... nearly forgot
memories of meeting up

memories of meeting up
A long time since I have seen Morris Dancers...Happy Beltane... nearly forgot
memories of meeting up
Gorgeous gennepher and I'm closing the garden doors on these two they can knock when they want to come in freezing here.Today's pastel painting before rain drove us indoors.
I was working under my thatched swing so I was fine...
It has been alternately blue skies with no clouds and then skies with dramatic clouds this morning.
Cat and I are back in bed to get warm...it is actually quite chilly out there.

Thank you very much @HarryBeau for the complimentGorgeous gennepher and I'm closing the garden doors on these two they can knock when they want to come in freezing here.
There will be a lot of mental strain to deal with. A good number for anyone feeling such anguish may want to use 116 123 - The Samaritans are always there for all in need.Hug for the fact that the wisdom contained in that post was largely or even partly born of such circumstances. Winner for the honesty in the post and the help it will bring other people. Sadness for an uncle who suffered in Korea and was never helped properly and for many like him since should have been better helped. Quite the Tsunami of similar issues building for those dealing with COVID up close and personal in Hospitals and care homes.
All the very best to your nephew. Keep him safe. Our nephew inadvertently was cross infected at age 16 and it prevented his transplant going ahead.Judith's cousin's lad died of CF at 24 years of age Judith's brother's lad our nephew has CF also but is doing quite well at the moment in his thirties now but has been told he may need lung transplant at some point. His mum father and himself are shielding for the duration. Many the day Judith and myself have stood outside super markets and on street corners with collecting tins for the CF trust in the past but unfortunately am not really able to do that so much these days.

There are still plenty of them about, two of our folk band members play and dance, regularly including Boxing Day and nEw Years Day, that was before all this lockdown. VIrtual Morris Dancing?A long time since I have seen Morris Dancers...
The Ironmen Dance men sing one that may be sensored here, but I will try. They dance it to a rather frightening stick dance.“Hal-An-Tow, jolly Rumbelow,
We were up, long before the day-oh,
To welcome in the summer, to welcome in the May-oh,
Summer is a-comin in, and winter’s gone away-oh.”

Great sky again @gennepher these pastels certainly work well for you.
For those who like stats, this is an interesting read

Oh no - how could he do that. I quite understand why you are not talking to Popeye, but you do have to secretly admire his ingenuity.I am not talking to the cat at the moment.
I had almost finished an email, the last paragraph to go, when he begins mithering me to go to the potting shed. I told him in a minute. So he put his paw on my iPad and sent the email and I couldn't stop it because he was in the way.
So I had to send another quick email to do the final paragraph. Popeye flicks his tail and gets off the bed.
I send the email, get off the bed, put my feet into my clogs, but one clog has warm liquid in it...
Popeye looks at me from the door with wide eyes...
I say my piece to him, but he puts his tail in the air and walks to the door to outside and looks at the Potting Shed....
He is now in the Potting Shed, but on the naughty step....alone...
I am now back in bed with clean feet, clogs are in the sink being washed.
And I am now going to finish my emails in peace, and if it is still daylight, I will take a book and a cuppa out there and join Popeye...
By the way he has an immaculately clean cat tray with brand new cat litter in it....so he was making a point....
He knows how to make a point...Oh no - how could he do that. I quite understand why you are not talking to Popeye, but you do have to secretly admire his ingenuity.
That sounds brilliant @Krystyna23040Did my first Zoom course this afternoon. Thankfully I wasn't the only Zoom 'first timer ' there.
Very interesting course which included some really sensible adaptations to how we teach clients with osteoporosis. Part 2 of the course is on Monday.
So nice that I can continue with my training and stay safe.
